As America reflects on the past year and sees just how much President Obama has achieved in reaching his goal of ‘fundamentally changing’ America from “a land of the free and home of the brave” to a land of ‘soaking the rich’ that leads to ‘poverty being equally divided’ it is time for Americans to wake up and turn to their God in prayer, as did the Founders 234 years ago.

As Americans ponders what is going on they must become more aware that this ‘return to bondage with the government being the taskmasters did not begin with the election of Barrack Obama. His election was the culmination of a Progressive Movement goal established quietly in the early 1900s by Teddy Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson. Americans need to also remember that President Lyndon Johnson’s Great Society was a major part of the Progressive Movement. Johnston declared in 1964, as recorded in the Congressional Record dated January 15, 1964, “We’re (the Progressives) going to take all the money we think is unnecessarily being spent and take it from the “haves” and give it to the “have nots.” And Progressives are on a fast track doing just that.

Few understand it was Johnson’s Great Society that allowed Obama to get elected. Johnson’s Great Society destroyed the traditional family structure where there was a father and mother in every home and established what has become an ever growing segment of society totally dependent on Johnson’s government welfare programs. This segment, where children are born out of wedlock, often with multiple fathers in a given dwelling, dominate the under achieving schools that Progressives want to take over and use to indoctrinate the children with their Progressive ideologies. This segment also provides a large percentage of the inmates of America’s ‘monuments to ignorance’ – America’s prisons. Hitler used Germany’s schools to indoctrinate their youth in the 1930s. For those that didn’t fit in ‘the system’ he used the gas chamber to get rid of them. Stalin sent his enemies to Siberia. Both were dictators and socialists.

Readers of my new book are astonished to learn just how much the Founder’s depended on God in winning an unwinnable war against the strongest army in the world while establishing a set of Foundational Documents that God has declared are for all mankind. The readers are astonished because the Progressives Movement has been so successful in infiltrating America’s educational system and removing all reference to God from today’s text books. 

Progressives would have Americans believe that it was America’s time that brought forth a new nation, not the influence of God, or the faith of the Founding Fathers in their God as they prayed to Jefferson’s “Creator” and “Supreme Judge of the world.” Progressives advocate the big lie, and then stick to it, and accomplish their goals by infiltrating the system, like termites, and eat away, as termites do, at the foundation of America – its Founders and its Foundational Documents.

The churches played a massive role in the creation of America and its time for America’s churches to get involved again. The primary textbook of the Founders, and the generations that followed was their Bibles.  The McGuffey Reader, another early textbook, lasted nearly 125 years and used biblical principles to teach their students. These were the generations that ‘built America.’

The roots of America’s liberty and freedoms are those principles of liberty the Founders found in their Bibles. Today Progressives want to severe those roots America was built upon and return to Ruler’s Law where the law is what ever the king says it is. American’s need to remember that at the time of the Revolutionary War 99 percent of the world’s population lived in bondage?

Jefferson’s Creator declared in John 8:32 that ‘the truth shall make you free”. Americans need to understand that God desires mankind to be free but Satan desires mankind to be enslaved and miserable.

Many Progressives underestimate the love of freedom most American’s have with this love of freedom being manifested today in the Tea Party Movement: those ModernDay Patriots who will be willing to die for that freedom just as were Patrick Henry and George Washington. Americans must also remember, in addition to faith and patience, that it took 11 years for the seed of liberty planted by the Founders to sprout and come forth in the form of a Constitution designed to govern a free people.

During this year’s National Day of Prayer remember prayer played a major role in nourishing that seed of freedom planted by the Lord in the hearts of the Founding Fathers 234 years ago. Pray hard this year because if today’s Progressive Movement succeeds than all Americans will mourn just as the scripture declares: “when evil men rule the people mourn.” Socialism is evil and it leads to bondage, the very issue America was created to destroy. No man should be in bondage one to another – or to their government.
