The Impetus behind the Dynamic Mastermind Community Service Projects

I was substitute teaching at the Dalton Middle School for a class of 6th graders.
The co-teacher was a young woman in her 30’s who dramatically
impressed me as she worked with the students. I find it hard to put into words how deeply she impressed me that single day.
She related to them about outside activities she had
working as a volunteer for special needs children.
She invited the students to send pictures and messages to these young people, many of who suffered from dramatic
birth defects or illnesses.
She
showed a video from the United Way organization she worked with that interviewed the parents who were very grateful for the
volunteer assistance they received for their family.
It caused me to realize of all the accomplishments I may have achieved in my life, I didn’t think I have
reached out like that to others who really are in dire conditions, especially with special needs families.
Then I remembered I have been volunteering most of
my adult life. I have a plaque on my wall noting my over 10 years of service in the Junior Achievement program teaching the
youth of America about the Free Enterprise system.
Then there was 4 years of service teaching at Computer Camp helping scouts with their computer
merit badge in Texas, and then there was helping individuals out during Hurricane Andrew in Homestead, Florida, and during
a Tornado that hit Chattanooga, Tennessee on Easter Sunday, plus I was there helping out individuals devastated by the flooding
in Albany, Georgia.
Also
there is The Everywhere Book Series, the 5-book series now published by Amazon.com,
which has brought joy and even inspired readers around the world. I still have fans begging me for the next book because they
fell in love with the characters.
All
this while helping raise 6 daughters and 3 sons, attending 9 weddings and traveling the country visiting all those grand-kids
too.
I don’t consider
this as tooting my own horn, rather acknowledging what good I may have accomplished during my lifetime. So, I have reached
out and continue to reach out to others.
Then I realized that the Mastermind Partnership program can become a vehicle for reaching
out to others less fortunate in another way with a group of partner volunteers in individual locales, helping locally where
they are making a difference in people’s lives, plus earning some super money along the way.
It is totally up to the individual Mastermind Partnerships
how they participate, but we encourage them to focus on helping others through individual effort with local community
organizations.
When
functioning within a Mastermind Partnership you can truly be a real force for good in your community, and as a Club Membership
together we are making a real difference in the local world around us!
The Dynamic Admin site is an avenue of communication and coordination across
partnerships by reporting your activities and successes on the Activities pages.
