I really enjoyed this book. I have always wondered how they discovered the transporter beams that they use in most of the Sci-Fi shows, and this book tells the tale. It has a lot of great action, adventure, humor and romance. I would best discribe it as high tech Sci-Fi with a bit of an old fashioned, classic feel to it. He was recognized by the General Dynamics Management Association for his ten years volunteer service in the Junior Achievement program in the Fort Worth, Texas School District.
The Longhorn Council of the Boy Scouts of America recognized him for 4 years of service teaching the Computer merit badge at Computer Camp
